Paul Burton

Chief Strategy Officer

As Chief Strategy Officer Paul works closely with all stakeholders in the business – the Board, investors, management team, suppliers and partners – to architect Commify’s long term strategy and growth. In particular, Paul is responsible for all of Commify’s acquisition activity.

Paul joined Commify in 2015 following a career spent in M&A and private equity, latterly at Darwin Private Equity, where in 2013 he was in the team that backed the original management buyout of Esendex from its founders and the subsequent acquisition programme. Paul has invested in and sat on the boards of a number of UK businesses, primarily in the technology sector, for whom he has led bolt-on acquisitions across Europe.

Outside of work Paul can usually be found cycling countryside lanes in preparation for his next race, or sniffing out the best independent coffee shops in search of the perfect flat white.
