Mark Bursnall

Chief Technology Officer

Mark joined Commify as Head of Engineering in May 2022 and was promoted to CTO in October 2025, bringing extensive experience in transformational change and leadership of engineering and technology teams across multiple sectors including retail, aviation and fintech.

With a deep background in engineering, architecture, and product development, he has a proven track record of establishing and scaling high-performing, globally distributed teams to architect, build, and deliver B2B and B2C SaaS recurring revenue products utilising cloud-native loosely coupled architectures.

Mark leads the technology organisation at Commify, driving the iterative rollout of our CPaaS transformation to establish a best-in-class digital customer journey. He oversees the core functions of Engineering, Operations, Data, Analytics & AI, Architecture, and Solution Delivery that collectively provide great service to our customers.

Mark lives in Leicestershire with his wife, daughter, and a multitude of mountain bikes.
