Commify, the team behind a global portfolio of business messaging brands, today announces the appointment of Tom Boucher as Chairman.
Tom’s most recent role was as an Operating Partner at Hg, working with several Hg portfolio companies, and is a proven industry leader. Tom is currently a Non-executive director at Commify and was previously the interim Commify CEO. Prior to this, Tom served as CFO for a number of private equity backed businesses including Sequel Business Solutions, The University of Law and Data Explorers.
Carla Cico, the current Commify Chairman, will step down from the Board. Carla has led the successful formation of the Commify group, following investment by Hg into Mobyt and Esendex in 2017, the merger of the two market leading messaging companies and the subsequent rapid growth of Commify, including multiple follow on acquisitions. Carla has overseen the creation and transformation of Commify into one of Europe’s largest business messaging groups and will remain a shareholder of the group.
